We Didn’t Bring the Boys….to Scottsdale

      One of the perks of having a husband who loves the SAINTS and football is that he would go anywhere if it involved going to a game. Another perk is a group of friends who equally love football as much as he does. So here we are, year number 4, where we pick a trip based off of the Saints away schedule. This year, we took a trip to the desert! Scottsdale, AZ to be exact!  Our flight landed a little later than some friends of ours and lucky for me they had already scoped out the first place we needed to visit, Wine Girl . The guys sat this one out, too girly for their football trip. We had sangria flights and a charcuterie board as we sat and chatted in the cutest little spot! We Brought the Boys…. to Houston

      What does any sane person do two weeks out from a big trip? Well, they plan another spontaneous spur of the moment trip of course. This one was courtesy of our buddy Randy, who sent out a group text asking if anyone wanted to go to an Astros game. My husband immediately jumped on board and before I knew it, we packed up the kids plus two other buddies and hit the road to Texas. The Astros game was all we had planned but you know this girl had to take advantage of every minute in a new city. This wasn’t our first trip to Houston, but it was the first with the boys. After seeing some pictures from friends who went to Houston a few weeks prior, I knew immediately what our first stop would be, The Color Factory.  It was a fun experience. I loved that they had cameras set up everywhere to capture selfies and that you got to download all of your pictures for free at the end of the exhibit.
