We had planned our Summer 2025 vacation to be a Disney cruise out of Port Canaveral. But then, we found out that the Home Run Derby was going to be in Atlanta two days before our cruise was set to sail and we pulled the ultimate YOLO move. We live and breathe baseball in this house, how could we not go? We justified it by saying that it was basically on our way from Baton Rouge to Florida. 🤪 I was on operation-book the hotel, for the first and last time. What I thought I found was the Doubletree right next to the stadium, but instead it was the one 1.6 miles down the road. We began to panic, because no way these little boys were walking that far, but then we found out they had a shuttle to bring people to the stadium complete with chocolate chip cookies on the ride!
